GF provided architecture and engineering services for the redevelopment of the Northcross Commons shopping center in Huntersville, NC (located just north of Charlotte). A 36,500 SF Whole Foods Market replaced a former Food Lion as the anchor tenant. The center, situated on 8.77 acres, underwent enhancements to the building façade, parking lot and landscape areas in conjunction with Whole Food’s arrival; replacing the synthetic stucco with variegated massings, materials and colors create a fresh, contemporary appearance.
