| Located in New
York City’s third-largest retail corridor, Fordham Place
underwent a transition from a single-tenant use to a LEED-certified,
276,475-square-foot, multi-level retail and commercial office
space building. For this complicated task, GreenbergFarrow used
as much of the existing structure as possible, phased construction
to allow for the renovation and expansion of the retail component
while building the new tower and added a glass curtain wall
to enhance visibility for retailers. The existing structure
component now has three stories of retail while the new tower
features 14 stories with over 160,000 square feet of new Class
A office space. |
